Mumbai University is slated to release the second merit list for First Year Undergraduate courses today, June 20, 2019. Just like the first merit list, MU will publish the second cut off list by 5:00 pm. Students will be able to check the MU Second Cut off list for admissions 2019-20 on the Mumbai University official websites and web portals of the colleges affiliated with it. The MU Second Cut Off list 2019 can be checked online at mu.ac.in. For the academic year 2019-20, more than 6 lakh applications have been received by the varsity for various courses.
Mumbai University published its first merit list on June 17, 2019. According to media report, this year the cut-off percentage for admission to BSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology for open category candidates was 60 per cent and 83 per cent respectively. Again, for St. Xavier’s College, the cut-off this year for BA recorded 58.77%. The cut off for BCom Honors for open category candidates stood at 89.23%. Mumbai University Admission 2019: Documents Needed
- Passport size photo
- Scanned signature of the applicant
- Self-attested class 10 certificate or 10th mark sheet containing the date of birth
- Self-attested class 12 mark sheet
- SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM/OBC certificate, if applicable
- EWS certificate issued by SDM certifying the applicant, if applicable
- Self-attested copies of sports or ECA certificate
There are about 762 colleges affiliated to Mumbai University, which are offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The candidates can check the list of affiliated colleges under MU on the official web portal. For the second merit list, the document verification round will be conducted on June 21 to June 22 and on June 24. It shall be noted students who fall under the released merit list are eligible to apply.
