The financial capital city of India, Mumbai is currently facing severe rainfall and the floodwater has taken over the busy roads and railway tracks halting the life of the citizens. Meanwhile, the admission process under Mumbai University has also been delayed. After MU LLB and BEd final application deadline was extended, the varsity has also decided to delay the admissions Masters in Engineering and Masters in Technology courses. As per the recent update, the last date for admission in ME courses is August 6 and for MTech, it is August 7, 2019.

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) office cited “heavy rains” for the delay in the admission process. The reporting to admission centres and institutes for first-year PG in ME and MTech will now be held on August 6 and August 7, 2019, respectively. Mumbai University has also extended the First Year Junior College admission process because of heavy rainfall. Minister of School Education, Ashish Shelar tweeted confirming that the last date to secure admissions and paying fees for MU FY Courses is extended to August 6, 2019, till 5:00 pm.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai University graduates who are willing to apply for LLB and teaching BEd courses are now allowed to submit their PDF copy of the mark sheet issued by the varsity. After they get their original scorecard, they must submit it to the college for verification. The deadline for the same has also been extended.
