The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is due to announce the class 10 and class 12 supplementary results. After the results of board exams were announced, MSBSHSE conducted the SSC and HSC compartment exams in June 2018. A lot of media reports are speculating the announcement of compartment results anytime soon. Looking at the past trends, usually, the Maharashtra Board declares the supplementary results for class 10 and 12 on separate dates on the official website, mahresult.nic.in. It appears that the exam results for both the classes will now be released by the end of August. Class 10 & Class 12 Maharashtra Board Supplementary Exams Begins. 

Shakuntala Kale, Chairman of MSBSHSE, told TOI that the assessment process is currently going on and soon after the compilation of marks, the class X and class XII compartment results will be published online by the end of this month. However, a confirmed date on the same is still awaited. The practical, graded and oral exams were conducted between July 9 and 16 in all the nine divisions of the state that includes, Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan. Quoting media reports, over 40,000 students in SSC and HSC each sat for the supplementary exams.

Those who could not clear the regular board exams applied for the compartment exams. The SSC exams were concluded on August 2 and HSC on August 4. Along with the supplementary exams, the minimum competency vocational courses exams for class 12 also commenced on July 17 till August 2. Such a delay in the result announcement put students’ future at stake since most of the colleges are done with their admission process. Last year, after clearing the supplementary exams, SSC students participated in the seventh round in September for admission in first-year junior colleges.
