The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) today announced the timetable for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams 2019. Students can check the date sheet on the board’s official website; mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. According to the release schedule, the exam for class 12 will begin on February 21 and end on March 20. While on the other hand, the class 10 exam starts from March 1 and will continue till March 22, 2019. In case if there are any objections, students can submit the same with specified reason to the board within 15 days.

As per earlier announcement, class 10 students will appear for the revised syllabus. Besides, the Maharashtra Board has also published a separate timetable for repeaters who will take the exam in the old curriculum. However, the timetable for the practical and oral examinations will be informed to the respective affiliated schools. Meanwhile, MSBSHSE, closed the online applications link for private candidates on October 3. Again, the state education board has warned junior colleges in the city against offering subjects they are not authorised to through a circular that has been issued last week. If found, such colleges can lose affiliation to the board and face strict action.

The board conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri.
