The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination (MPPEB) is ready to begin the application process for candidates interested in Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). The MPTET 2020 online registration will be held at the official website of MPPEB; peb.mp.gov.in. As per the MPTET 2020 exam schedule, the application process will begin on January 6, and continue till January 20. The MPTET exam is a screening test for candidates to earn the eligibility certificate and apply to primary and secondary school teaching jobs at the state. The MPTET passing certificate is eligible for seven years for teacher recruitment. MPPEB will also release the exam notification containing further details of MP TET 2020 exam.

MPTET 2020: Important Dates

  • MPTET 2020 Notification: January 6, 2020

  • MPTET 2020 Registration Begins: January 6, 2020

  • Last Date to Register for MPTET: January 20, 2020

  • Last Date to Make Corrections on Applications: January 25, 2020

MPTET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • For Primary Teacher recruitment (classes 1 to 5), a candidate should have B.Ed Degree + Graduation with 50% Marks from a Recognized University.

  • For Secondary Teacher recruitment (classes 6 to 8), a candidate should have B.Ed Degree + Graduation with 50% Marks from a Recognized University.

    The minimum age limit for the candidate is 18 to 35 years.

MPTET Application Fee

For MPTET Paper I or Paper II, a general category candidate will have to pay Rs 600 as an application fee. Again, the reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 300. Those who want to apply for both papers will have to pay Rs 1200 (general category) and Rs 600 (reserved category) respectively.
