Bhopal, May 14: The Madhya Pradesh Board for Secondary Education (MPBSE) on Monday declared the results of Class 10th (HSSC) and 12th (HSC) Board examinations. The results were awaited by lakhs of students who had appeared for the exams in March-April.

The exam results will be crucial for students of HSSC to secure admission in Class 11th. For HSC students, the results will decide their fate for enrollment in undergraduate courses.

Toppers, Pass Percentage & Other Key Statistics

Out of 180 toppers of Class 10th, 98 are girls and 83 are boys. In the disabled category, blind student Shahi Shekhar Prakash scored the best.

The overall pass percentage for Class 10th students was reported to be 66 per cent. A total of 11,48,098 students had enrolled for the examinations, out of which 10,419 were absent.

Among those who had attempted the exams, 8,30,942 were regular students. The number of regular attemptees who have passed out are: 5,45,600. Those who failed amount to 1,89,115

Meanwhile, out of the 3,17,156 private students, 64,658 passed out, whereas, 1,79,718 students have failed to clear the exams.

On the other hand, 68 per cent of the 7,65,358 students who had enrolled for the Class 12th examinations have passed.

The total number of regular students who enrolled for the exam were 6,00,065. Among them, 4,05,122 have passed, whereas, 1,08,358 have failed to clear.

Among private students, 41,030 out of 1,65,293 have succeeded to clear the HSC exams. According to MPBSE, 81,726 have failed.

Anamika Sadh and Harshvardhan Parmar have been declared as Rank 1 toppers of the HSC exam, sharing the same total marks.
