The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) in 2016 introduced an aptitude or interest assessment test to prepare the class 10 students better for their board exams. So far, the students appeared in the interest test through computers. Last month, MSBSHSE released the timetable for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams 2019. Now, according to recent reports, the education department is planning to roll out mobile application instead of computers for the assessment test. According to TOI, the state education department initiated a mobile app following a project in Satara in October. The month-long test window will open on December 18. The Maharashtra education conducts the aptitude test for all class 10 students to test their skill for careers in several streams. Further, the test will give a fair idea to students about their upcoming board exams. Every year, lakhs of students appear in the examination to test themselves in different fields. As of now, further confirmed reports for the new initiative is still awaited. Meanwhile, the SSC exam in the coming year will begin from March 1 and will continue till March 22.

MSBSHSE Pune is an autonomous Body established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Act. The state board conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri.
