The private candidates of Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) must take note that the online applications for the board exams of class 10 and class 12 will end on October 3. All the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) students must hurry up and finish the registration form along with fees. It must be noted that the submission of the original prescribed documents to the designated contact centre/ school/ junior college can be done till October 4, 2018, at mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. The applications shall be filed through online mode only as no offline, or hard copies of the same would be accepted. Private students are those who do not attend any school. Such candidates are allowed to appear for the SSC and HSC examinations, provided they apply and submit their forms specified by the board. Students must have with them an original copy of School-leaving Certificate or duplicate of the affidavit, Copy of Aadhaar card, a scanned copy of passport size photograph which is to be uploaded while filling the online application form for class 10 and 12 examinations in February and March 2019 respectively. In case if the official website does not work or you face any technical glitch, it is recommended to try again later. Those who fail to submit the online application forms, will not be allowed to appear in the exam next year.
MSBSHSE conducts the HSC and SSC Examinations in the state of Maharashtra through its nine Divisional Boards located at Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nasik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Nagpur and Ratnagiri. The Board conducts examination twice a year, and the number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 lakhs for HSC and 17 lakhs SSC. Again, for the supplementary examination around six lakhs, students are expected HSC and SSC together, as quoted by the board. There are about 21000 SSC schools and HSC 7000 Higher Sec. Schools / Jr. colleges in the entire state.
