The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is yet to announce their class 10th and class 12th results date. However, few media reports are claiming that Maharashtra Board will declare their HSC class 12 results of arts, science and commerce tomorrow, May 26. But officials have not confirmed anything on the same. If declared, the MSBSHSE HSC board exam results 2018 will be made available online on the official website of mahresult.nic.in. The statement on the website reads, “Results for the Exams conducted in 2018 have not been announced so far. Please look for the announcement at Exam Results Portal (http://results.gov.in).” Hence, the candidates are recommended to keep a tab on the board’s website for results update. UPDATE: The HSC Class 12 exam results have been declared. Students can check their marks at mahresult.nic.in.
The HSC examination was conducted between February 21 to March 20 and around 14,85,132 candidates were reported to write the MSBSHSE class 12th examinations this year. The MSBSHSE HSC examinations 2018 were conducted in 9,486 junior colleges and 2,822 centres across Maharashtra. Shakuntala Kale, MSBSHSE chairperson reported that the Board is striving to declare the results for class 10th and class 12th results on time, possibly on the last week of May. Kale was quoted in an Indian Express report saying; “I am advising students to stay calm, MSBSHSE will announce the results on time.” The official further added, “The HSC results will come first followed by the SSC results.”
Earlier reports were also suggesting that several messages were circulated on WhatsApp that the MSBSHSE HSC results will be out on May 27 and SSC on June 6. And now, few media reports are claiming that Maharashtra Board will announce the HSC results tomorrow creating panic among students. Shakuntala Kale in the same report assured that both the SSC and HSC results will be declared before June 10. But so far, there have been only speculations but no confirmed date by the officials on the same.
As most of the state educational board have announced their board exam results, it is expected that Maharashtra Board will not delay anymore and shall declare in the coming week or by the first week of June. Once announced, candidates will be check their scores online on other third-party websites as well such as indiaresults.co.in, examresults.net.
Meanwhile, an enquiry committee proposed a punishment to all those 58 students who were caught cheating during the MSBSHSE HSC examinations 2018. If the proposal is approved than the students could be debarred to sit for re-exam for 3 years and depending on the sort of offence, it could exceed till 5 years.
