Mumbai, April 3: The MAH MCA CET- Maharashtra Masters in Computer Application Common Entrance Test 2018 results will be declared today at 5pm by DTE- Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. The students can see their results at dtemaharashtra.gov.in. The Department of Technical Education (DTE) had earlier declared that results for MAH MCA CET 2018 would be displayed on April 3, 2018 at 5pm.
The MAH MCA CET exam was held on March 3, 2018. The online registration and confirmation of application form was done on the website from February 7 to March 5. The issue of admit card was done through candidate login from March 15 to March 24. The exam was held on March 24 and the results for would be declared today at 5pm. The scores in the exam will help the students take admission for post graduate courses in Computer Application field of study in Maharashtra.
According to the circular put on the website, The Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai shall act as Nodal Officer for conducting the CETs under Technical Education. The DTE website mentions the following as Notified Eligibility Rules for admission to Post Graduate Course in Computer Applications (MCA):
First and Direct Second Year(Lateral Entry and Separate
Division)Admission,—
(1) For Maharashtra Candidature Candidates, All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant
Candidature Candidates.—
(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor’sDegree
awarded by University recognised by University Grants Commission
or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least
50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of
candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability
belonging to Maharashtra State only);
(iii) Studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or
at Graduate level examination;
(iv) For Direct second year admissions, the candidate should have
passed Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications or Science
(Information Technology or Computer Science);
(v) Obtained score in CET.
The students who had appeared for the exam should be ready to check their results and be ready with their seat no. and hall tickets. The registered students have to login with their details. The students must note that owing to high number of users trying to access the website at the same time, they may experience some problem in getting their results displayed initially but eventually the students will be able to see their results.
