The Karnataka Supplementary Examinations 2018 for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) was conducted from June 21 to June 28. SSLC supplementary exams were for those students who could not qualify the regular board exams this year. It is a chance recommended by the government so that candidates do not lose a year. As the examinations were conducted peacefully across the state, the students now wait eagerly to know their scores. While an official confirmation is still awaited, media outlets are suggesting that the board is making arrangements to announce the results before July 15. All the supplementary candidates are recommended to keep a tab with the official website of KSEEB to stay updated with the announcements. To check the scores online, the students must keep the admit card handy. About 1 lakh candidates sat for KSEEB SSLC supplementary exams this year across various centres.
The results of SSLC main examination was announced on May 7 and the pass percentage this year stood at 71.93 per cent. Out of the total number of candidates who registered for SSLC board exams in Karnataka, 5,77,733 successfully qualified for higher studies. According to previous records, the class 10 supplementary exams are generally released by the second week of July on the official site of KSEEB. Last year, the results for the same were declared on July 14.
