KSEEB is set to declare their SSLC results 2018 on their official websites today at 12:00 pm. About 8.35 lakh students have appeared for their SSLC exams.
Karnataka today hosted it's class 10 state board result declaration. Over 8 lakh students appeared in the SSLC exam this year. Udupi district tops again with 88.18 pass percentage in KSEEB class 10 board exam 2018. Last year too, Udupi scored out the rest by achieving maximum number of pass percentage in the state board exam.
The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) declared their class 10 exam results for the academic year 2017-18 today on their official websites. This year, Karnataka's pass percentage for SSLC stands at 71.93 percent.
As class 10 results have been declared by KSEEB today, Mysuru boy Yashas MS from Sadvidya High School and Bengaluru teen Sudarshan KS from Holy Child English School tops merit list with full 100 percent marks in SSLC 2018 exam. While on the other hand, the rural students secures more passing percentage of 74 percent than urban which stands at 69.38 percent.
KSEEB announced the class 10 results today post 11:00 am. Out of 8,38,088 students, 6,02,802 have cleared the KSEEB SSLC 2018 exam successfully. This year, the rural students scored more with 74 percent pass percentage; whereas, the pass percentage of urban students stands at 69.38 percent.
The SSLC results has been declared at Karnataka by KSEEB on their website. As per official numbers; girls outshine boys with the maximum number of percentage of 78.01 percent whereas, class 10 boy candidates secured 66.56 percent.

This year, KSEEB conducted their class 10 examination between March 8 to April 6 at 2,817 centres across the state. As per the official numbers, about 8.35 lakh students have appeared for their SSLC exams. The Karnataka Education Minister Tanveer Sait confirmed in an earlier report, that the results will be declared by the board in the first week of May 2018.
Reportedly, around 18-20,000 teachers were assigned to evaluate the class 10 answer scripts. Apart from the official websites, students can also check their results by visiting other third-party portals, examresults.net, results.nic.in. Once declared, the official websites may slow down as the server load increases in which case, students and their concerned parents are recommended to keep their calm and try again later.
Steps to check your KSEEB class 10 results 2018:
1. Visit the official websites; kseeb.kar.nic.in, karresults.nic.in.
2. You will come across a link that states—Karnataka SSLC Results 2018; click the link.
3. Enter your SSLC exam 2018 roll number that is provided on your admit card and click submit.
4. Your class 10 board exam results will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download and take a print out of the same for future purposes.
Nearly 51 students were withdrawn from taking the KSEEB SSLC examination this year for indulging in misconducts at the examination hall. Again, according to the education state board, a total of 2.73 percent candidates did not sit for the class 10 exams. The students must keep an eye on the official websites of KSEEB as the board is expected to announce the results anytime soon.
