Mumbai, June 6: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the counselling schedule 2024, introducing five rounds of seat allocation with an additional exclusive round for the NIT+ system. How To Apply?

  • Visit the official website at josaa.nic.in
  • Click on the registration link given on the website
  • Enter your credentials such as JEE Main application number and date of birth
  • Complete the choice filing process
  • Review and lock the filled-in choices

Eligibility

Eligible candidates will have to register and fill in their choices for institute and course, they will be allotted the same as per their rank. Earlier, JoSAA counselling was jointly conducted by NIT Rourkela. However, this year, the authority has not shared any update on this.

The counselling process takes place when candidates lock in their choices. The authority then releases two mock seat allocations before reconciling data, verifying, and validating allocated seats.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras is poised to announce the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 on the same day. Successful candidates will be eligible to participate in the JoSAA 2024 counselling process, which is the gateway to securing seats at premier technical institutes across the country, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs).
