After a lot of speculations, the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has finalised the exam dates for class 10, class 11 and class 12 board examinations. According to the date sheet, the class 10 exam will begin on October 24 and will end on November 14, 2018. Whereas the class 12 exam for all streams will start on October 22 and will continue till November 15. Class 11 board exams are slated to begin from October 26 and end on November 14. All the candidates can check the timetable on the JKBOSE official website; jkbose.jk.gov.in or contact their school authorities for the detailed schedule. JKBOSE Class 10 & 12 Date Sheet on Social Media Is Fake! 

Joint Secretary of Examination, JK BOSE, Syed Rouf Ahmad in earlier news confirmed that the government had approved the dates. The date sheet has been circulated to all its affiliated schools. A few days ago, candidates became a victim of a fake timetable which was doing rounds on social media. The Department of Information and Public Relations, J&K clear the false news in its tweet confirming to disclose the exam dates soon. It tweeted, “J&K Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) today said that the date sheet doing rounds on social media regarding conduct of 10th Class Exam is fake and BOSE is yet to issue the official date sheet for the said examination.”

The Jammu and Kashmir Education Board is based in Jammu and Srinagar and is an autonomous body under the administration of the state government. The board gives affiliation to above 10,200 schools across the state and employs more than 22,000 teachers.
