Followed by which on September 17, the timetable for JKBOSE October exam appeared in the news headlines that stated the exams would begin from October 24 and October 22, 2018, respectively for class 10 and class 12. It turns out that the schedule is fake, and the board is yet to release the October exam date sheet. Many fell in its prey. Quoting media reports, the date sheet that was surfaced on social media platforms was available in the scanned image file. It further stated the class 10 exams were to end on November 14, while class 12 were to conclude on November 15. Moreover, exam timings were also listed on the date sheet. With thousands of schools affiliated to JKBOSE, the confusion caused needed to be clarified at the earliest. The department tweeted, “J&K Board of Secondary Education (JKBOSE) today said that the date sheet doing rounds on social media regarding conduct of 10th Class Exam is fake and BOSE is yet to issue the official date sheet for the said examination.”
