The Jawaharlal Institute of Post Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will begin the online counselling process for seat allotment from today, June 26.  JIPMER Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) aspirants should note that the last date to apply for the counselling is June 28, 2019. The institute will offer live stream process for JIPMER MBBS 2019 counselling online at the official website; jipmer.edu.in. All the JIPMER MBBS-qualified candidates can visit the web portal to secure their seats for the medical courses. JIPMER had declared the MBBS entrance exam result on June 9, 2019. Arunangshu Bhattacharya has topped the examination, scoring 99.9986761 percentile, followed by Prateek Upadhyay who stood second with a score of 99.9985639.

The JIPMER MBBS counselling 2019 process will begin with unreserved and PwD category candidates on June 26. For OBC, SC and ST category candidates, the counselling process will be held on June 27 and Puducherry residents, NRI/ OCI students can apply for the same on June 28.

  • Visit the official website; jipmer.edu.in.

  • On the homepage, click on the activated admit card link mentioned under ‘announcements.’

  • You will be guided to a new page.

  • Now login to your account using the registration number.

  • Your JIPMER MBBS 2019 admit card for counselling will appear on the computer screen.

  • Download and take a print out of the same for future reference.

More than 1.84 lakh students have registered for the entrance examination for as many as 200 MBBS seats offered by JIPMER. Of the total seats, 150 are for JIPMER Puducherry and remaining 50 are for JIPMER, Karaikal.
