The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry released the admit cards for its Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) entrance examinations 2018. Medical aspirants can download their hall tickets for this year's JIPMER MBBS entrance exam from the Institute’s official websites; jipmer.puducherry.gov.in, jipmer.edu.in by entering their user ID and password. The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on June 3 for candidates who wants to take admission to JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Karaikal. A total of 150 seats are available for MBBS courses at the Institute’s Puducherry centre and 50 seats at Karaikal.

Students needs to finish answering the questions in two and a half hours. The questions are comprised of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and English comprehension, logical and quantitative reasoning. The JIPMER MBBS 2018 admit card in an important document for all the candidates sitting for the entrance exams. It contains important details such as exam date, entrance exam venue, roll number, candidate’s personal details including their signature and important instructions that needs to be followed on the exam day. The hall tickets are available for students to download from May 21 till the date of exam which is June 3, 2018.

Steps to download JIPMER MBBS 2018 Admit Cards:

1. Visit the official websites; jipmer.edu.in,  jipmer.puducherry.gov.in.

2. You will come across a link that states—Download Hall Ticket for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination. Click the link below it.

3. Once you click the link to download your JIPMER MBBS hall tickets; it will guide you to a new web page.

4. Enter your user ID and password and login to your account.

5. Your JIPMER MBBS 2018 Admit Card will be displayed on the computer screen.

6. Download the PDF and take a print out of the same for future reference.

It is important to note that applicants have to carry their JIPMER MBBS admit card along with a valid ID proof—Aadhaar/ e-Aadhaar or a passport to get an entry to the examination hall. The online Computer based Test (CBT) will be conducted in two shifts on the scheduled date. As per media reports, once the entrance examinations are done, JIPMER will upload the merit list on or before June 20. The Institute will announce to confirm the same on their official website.
