New Delhi, April 29: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) result will be out on April 30 published or released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). All the candidates who have appeared for the exam need to check the score and rank of Paper-I at the official website — jeemain.nic.in. This score will comprise the marks obtained in Paper-I of JEE (Main) – 2018 and reflect the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2018. The rank will include the all India rank and all India category rank.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the answer keys for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2018 on April 24. Around 10.43 lakh candidates had registered for the examination this year. The offline exam was held on April 8 and the online exam was on April 15 and 16.

The Steps to check Joint Entrance Examination result for JEE Mains result 2018 are as follows:

1. Visit the official website of JEE mains- jeemain.nic.in

2.  Click on the ‘JEE mains 2018 Results’ link on homepage

3.  Enter the application number, Date of birth and security pin

4. Press log in to view Result

5. Check your result and save the printout for future reference.

JEE main is conducted every year gaining admission for students to engineering and architecture courses in NITs, IITs and other CFTIs. It is the entry exam for JEE Advanced. The top 2,20,000 candidates from JEE Main 2018 will be deemed qualified and can appear in JEE Advanced 2018 exam. JEE Advanced is the exam conducted for admission to the prestigious IITs.
