New Delhi, July 6: Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday made the much awaited announcement regarding the JEE (Mains) Examination 2021. According to the latest announcement, the JEE (Mains) examination for April 2021 session will be conducted between July 20 and July 25 while the exams for May 2021 session will be held from July 27 to August 2 this year. The examination will be undertaken while following proper COVID-19 guidelines and precautions. JEE (Main) Examination 2021 Update: Exams To Be Conducted in July, August 2021, Registration Window Reopens.
Along with this, the registration window for the third and fourth session of JEE (Mains) 2021, April and May cycle respectively, have also been reopened. Aspirants can apply for the April session between July 6 to July 8 and for the May session the candidates can submit the online application form from July 9 to July 12. The notification by the NTA also says that the candidates can withdrew from the April and May session by following proper procedure as mentioned in the application form. CBSE Exams 2021-22: CBSE Board Exams of Class 10 and 12 Will Be Taken in Two Terms Each on 50% Syllabus.

Referring to the concerns regarding the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal tweeted that PM Narendra Modi has always said that "safety, security and bright future of our students should be the highest priorities of the Education Ministry." This year, amid the outbreak, the number of examination centre in every shift have been increased from 660 to 828.
