New Delhi, January 19: The National Testing Agency or NTA on Saturday declared the JEE Main Result 2019 on the official website, jeemain.nic.in and nta.ac.in. While announcing the JEE Main Result 2019, the NTA also released a list of students who scored 100 percentile. Dhruv Arora from Madhya Pradesh topped the JEE Main examination. Raj Aryan Agrawal from Maharashtra ranked second.

17-year-old Dhruv Arora is from Indore and cleared the JEE Main examination in his first attempt. Arora loves physics and is not desperate to take admission to the Indian Institute of Technology. Speaking to a leading daily, he said he might join the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore as he wants to do something in theoretical physics in future.

Of the 15 who scored 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2019, four are from Telangana, while three students from Maharashtra have also scored a 100 percentile followed by 2 each from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. One student each from Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh have also scored 100 percentile. No girl student scored 100 percentile.

According to HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, the JEE Main Results 2019 final ranks would be declared after JEE II, scheduled to be held in April 2019. Javadekar congratulated the students who cracked the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and the NTA for declaring the JEE Main Result 2019 "in record time".
