Mumbai, April 30: The Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) Results 2018 are set to be declared, later today. The entrance exam results will be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). JEE - Main aspirants can check their results on CBSE’s official website – cbseresults.nic.in, once announced. Students who had applied for JEE Main 2018 Examination can also check their results on jeemain.nic.in, and also on results.nic.in.

Over 14 lakh students had appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination ­– Main, this year. The JEE - Main Test is conducted every year, wherein students who aspire to pursue higher education in technical courses, i.e. Architecture & Engineering, apply to appear for this joint entrance examination.

Here's a Step-by-Step Guide to Check Karnataka Class XII Board Results 2018, Online:

Step 1: Students will have to log on CBSE Board’s official website – cbseresults.nic.in; or results.nic.in, or jeemain.nic.in.

Step 2: Then, click on the ‘JEE Main Exam’ notification.

Step 3: Then, enter your roll number/registration number.

Step 4: Then, fill other details (Name, Date of Birth etc.) in other provided fields (if any).

Step 5: Then, click on Submit.

Step 6: Your JEE - Main Result 2018 will be displayed.

Step 7: Now, you can download your JEE Main 2018 Scores.

Step 8: You can take a printout and keep it for your future reference.

The students clearing the JEE Main 2018 will then be eligible to register themselves for JEE Advanced Examinations. The JEE - Main Examination Results are considered for admission in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Central Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) throughout the country.
