NTA conducted the JEE Main Paper 1 and Paper 2 examinations in the second and first weeks of April, which was the second edition of the entrance test. More than 9 lakh candidates appeared in JEE Main II 2019 across many examination centres. The official NTA’s data also states that in both the examinations, 72% of candidates were common candidates as of January, 2019. This means that more than 7 lakh candidates appeared in both JEE Main exams held this year.
