All the young engineering aspirants across the country are at their final stage of the registration procedure for the coveted Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main II 2019. According to the released notification by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the JEE Main April 2019 registration closes on March 7. Those who are interested and fall under the eligibility criteria are advised to fill in the application form which is available online at jeemain.nic.in, nta.ac.in. NTA will conduct the second edition of JEE Main 2019 which is scheduled to be held from April 6 to April 20, 2019. Besides, the JEE Main April 2019 results will be announced on April 30. The application fee for JEE Main April 2019 exam for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is Rs. 500 for General and OBC category candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Transgender/ Female of all category. Again, students who wish to apply for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 900 in case of General/ OBC category and Rs. 450 for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Transgender/ Female of all category. JEE Main April 2019 Registration: Important Instructions
1. Visit the official website; jeemain.nic.in, nta.ac.in to begin with, your online application process.
2. Read the essential guidance provided by NTA before filling the JEE Main 2019 application form.
3. Fill in all the required details including personal, academic, contact, exam and submit it online. Candidates will also have to create a password and choose the security question by entering its answer.
4. Upload the scanned copy of the required documents which includes candidate’s photograph and signature in the format prescribed by the authorities.
5. Note that the passport photograph should be a coloured photograph. Selfie or Polaroid photos are not acceptable.
6. The signature should be done in running handwriting and upload online.
7. After the successful completion of the online application, the acknowledgement slip has to be downloaded, and a printout has to be taken for the future reference.
JEE Main examination is the qualifying entrance test for JEE Advanced as well for those who aspire to study at the IITs. The better NTA score, between JEE Main 2019 January and JEE Main April session, would be considered for the final JEE Main 2019 rank. The shortlist of candidates for the JEE Advanced 2019 exam will be done on the basis of the JEE Main 2019 rank.
