The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 from January 6 to January 11, 2020. This is the first session of entrance exam of the year, and NTA has already activated its Admit Card download link. All candidates who are appearing in the examination are advised to visit the official website; jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam will be conducted in two shifts—from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. But there are certain guidelines that candidates must follow on the exam day. What to wear and what not wear. JEE Main 2020 Dress Code for Male Candidates:
- Candidates can wear full sleeves, jackets and shirts.
- They must not wear any cloth consisting of metallic items to avoid problems during frisking.
- Candidates are not allowed to wear a cap or muffler or any cloth over their head.
- Wear light-weight comfortable clothes to avoid discomfort while writing the examination.
- They are not allowed to wear any jewellery, goggles, or any of such items.
JEE Main 2020 Dress Code for Female Candidates:
- Wearing Kurta or simple T-shirt with a pair of jeans is allowed.
- You must keep the cold weather in mind, before stepping out of the house.
- Carrying any kind of stole or dupatta or a scarf is not allowed.
- No jewellery or any kinds of ornaments are barred from wearing on the exam day.
- No metallic items, or even attached to clothes, are advised to avoid.
Candidates are advised to report to the examination centre two hours before the commencement of the examination. The answer keys will be released after which the result will be declared on January 31, 2020.
