The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2019 April attempt today. JEE Main 2019 April exam session began with Paper 2 for B Arch/ B Planning candidates at various test centres across the nation. NTA will conduct the second session of JEE Main 2019 between April 7 and April 12 in two shifts from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. According to reports, about 8 lakh students have appeared in the second session of JEE Main. JEE Main April 2019 exam pattern will be similar to the JEE Main January examination. JEE Main 2019: Last-Minute Exam Day Instructions to Follow

1. Do not forget to carry your JEE Main 2019 admit card.

2. Note that any stationery items like pen, eraser, writing boards etc. will not be allowed inside the exam hall.

3. Reach the exam centre at least one hour early than the scheduled time to avoid the last-minute hustle.

4. Carry a photo ID, and a recent passport size colour photograph.

5. Read the instructions carefully as mentioned in the JEE Main 2019 question paper.

JEE Main 2019 exam is conducted for admissions to coveted IITs, NITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) and State Funded Technical Institutes (SFTIs). For the first time, students are given a chance to appear in the JEE Mains exam in the same year with a gap of only two months. The move has been adopted by NTA to conduct a fair and transparent entrance examination for the betterment of students.
