The National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main today, December 17, 2018. Students who have successfully completed the registration process will be able to download the hall tickets from the official websites; nta.ac.in, jeemain.nic.in. The newly-established body NTA will conduct JEE Main exam from January 6 to January 20 as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and pen and paper mode for Paper 2. The candidates should further note that the time for the release of the admit card is not known at present. Hence, it is advisable to keep a tab on the official sites to stay updated with the recent announcements. JEE Main is for admission to the coveted National Institutes of Technology (NIT), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IITs) and some other colleges and universities. As released, JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 will be held from January 6 to 20, while Paper 2 will be held only in one shift. Paper 1 will be in CBT mode, and Paper 2 will be in pen and paper mode. The JEE Mains candidates will appear for Paper 1 exam in the morning session, and Paper 2 will be held in the afternoon session. Important Instructions for JEE Main 2019 Admit Card.
1. JEE Main 2019 admit cards will not be sent by post.
2. Candidates should only download from the official websites and keep a print out ready before the exam.
3. No duplicate hall tickets for JEE Main would be issued at the exam centres.
4. JEE Main 2019 admit cards will not be issued to the candidates whose applications are found incomplete or who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for the exam.
5. After downloading, the candidates are advised to read the information and instructions carefully.
6. In case of any discrepancy, the candidates are advised to contact the examination branch/ NTA helpline between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm from December 17, 2018, to January 23, 2019.
To make the students more exam-friendly, NTA has made provision for test practise and had set up the Test Practise Centres (TPCs) where students could go and appear for the mock tests. In order to participate in the same, the students will have to register for TPCs through the official websites of NTA or JEE Main.
