The online registrations for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2019 ended today, May 9. However, the IIT JEE Advanced 2019 registration fee could be paid until tomorrow, May 10, 2019 by visiting the official website; jeeadv.ac.in. It shall be noted here that, JEE Advanced 2019 registration will continue till May 14, for the Odisha candidates. Because of the damages caused by cyclonic Fani, JEE Advanced 2019 aspirants are facing severe internet disturbance. Hence, the government extended the IIT JEE Advanced 2019 registration deadline for five more days, till May 14. Due to the catastrophic cyclone that hit Odisha last week, the state is struggling to get back to the regular lifestyle. Families are living in dark, due to the shortage of power supply and candidates are facing trouble while applying for entrance examination such as JEE Advanced. It is one of the coveted entrance exams held in the nation. Looking at the situation, the Union Human Resources Development Minister, Prakash Javadekar, wrote to Odisha Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik for extending the JEE Advanced 2019 registration date by at least 10 days. However, as per reports, the JEE Advanced 2019 online registration date extension has been granted only for 5 days. The extension is only for Odisha JEE Advanced 2019 candidates, and for the remaining aspirants, the application window has been shut. Payment of application fee could be done till May 10.

All the private category and female candidates will have to pay Rs. 1,300 as IIT JEE Advanced 2019 application fee. For all other students, it is Rs. 2,600. IIT Roorkee is scheduled to conduct the JEE Advanced 2019 on May 27 and approximately, more than 2 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the entrance examination.
