The JAC Chairman Arvind Kumar Singh announced the results for Class 12th Arts stream in a press conference held at Ranchi. This year, the pass percentage stood at 72.62%. Students will be able to check the scores online after 3:00 pm on the official website of JAC; jac.nic.in.
The Jharkhand Board in a press conference declared the class 12 exam results 2018 for Arts stream today. Out of 1,84,558 students who wrote the Intermediate examination this year, 1,32,179 of them have successfully qualified for higher studies.
After much delay, the Jharkhand Board will finally announce the class 12th board exam results today. Once the results are declared, students can check their scores online at results.nic.in after 3:00 pm.
This year, JAC has implemented various security measures in order to conduct the board exams peacefully in Jharkhand. CCTVs and admit cards online were for the first time has been introduced by the board. Reportedly, the cheating cases were less this time but occured. Few accused persons including students, have been detained in Jharkhand’s Chatra Sadar police station area for cheating and on suspicion of being part of the leak of class 10 and class 12 question papers. On the other hand, 3 people and 9 students were arrested in Jharkhand with leaked 10th board maths question paper.

It has been a long wait for the Arts stream Intermediate students to get their results. Many reputed Colleges and Universities have already begun with their admission procedure and this delay stands as a stress for many students under Jharkhand Board. Steps to check JAC Intermediate Arts stream results 2018:
1. Visit the official websites of JAC; results.nic.in, jac.ac.in, jharresults.nic.in.
2. Once the results are announced, JAC will activate a link to check the Class 12th Intermediate scores.
3. Enter all the necessary details including your roll number and click ‘submit’.
4. Your JAC class 12th board exam results 2018 will be displayed on the computer screen.
5. Download and take a print out of the same for future references.
On June 7, the board exam results of class 12th Science and Commerce streams were announced by JAC. The pass percentage of Science stream students stood at 48.34 percent and for Commerce stream it was 67.49 percent. On the other hand, the results of class 10 examination 2018 was declared on June 12 recording a pass percentage of 57.29 percent.
