A board official was earlier quoted saying from now; a student will have to score 33 per cent instead of 35 per cent for passing ICSE board exams and 35 instead of 40 per cent for ISC examinations. This likely will be noted in this year's CISCE board exam results. Apart from this, candidates, if they fail to clear the board examinations, 2019 will get a second chance by taking the compartmental tests, which will be held in July. The results of the same will be announced in August. It is notable here that only those candidates who will fail to pass in only one subject, other than English, in the main examinations can avail the opportunity.
CISCE has reportedly begun the board exam evaluation procedure, and the result date is yet to be announced. It is speculated that the scores for both class 10 and class 12 will be declared in the upcoming month, May, 2019. Students are advised to keep a constant check on the official websites of CISCE to stay updated with the ICSE and ISC board exam related notifications.
