After the successful completion of the application process, IRMA will announce the exam date which is scheduled to held in the first week of February 2019.

The Institute of Rural Management (IRMA) has extended the last date to apply for the admissions for its two-year postgraduate diploma course 2019-21 academic session in Rural Management (PGDRM). As per the recent notification, the students can now fill in the online application till January 21, 2019. Students can visit the official website; irma.ac.in to apply. Earlier, the last date to apply was December 31, 2018, which has now been postponed. Besides, for the Foreign Nationals and NRI, the last date to submit the completed applications is March 30. The admission will be done through IRMA Social Awareness Test 2019 (IRMASAT) followed by group activity and personal interview. AIIMS MBBS Exam 2019 Basic Registration Ends Today. 

The IRMA PGDRM is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and certified by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). To appear in the entrance exam, a candidate should at least secure 85 percentile in CAT 2018 or XAT 2019 or those who have 80 percentile score in the exams with related work experience or graduated from coveted universities in the field of social science, development studies, agriculture and allied science. IAS Topper Ankur Garg Scores 171 / 170 in Harvard University Exam. 

IRMA Selection Process

Merit-Based

The general category candidates, who score more than 85 percentiles in CAT 2018/ XAT 2019 are eligible to be selected for IRMASAT and Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) process.

Profile-cum-merit Based

The candidates under general category, who score more than 80 percentile in CAT 2018/ XAT 2019 and fall in the profile-based call criteria will be selected for IRMASAT and GA and PI process. The essential criteria to shortlist the candidates are:

  • Graduation from coveted universities and colleges.
  • Work experience in Social Impact, Community Development, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied sectors.
  • Graduation in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agriculture and Allied Sciences.

After the successful completion of the application process, IRMA will announce the exam date which is scheduled to held in the first week of February 2019. The declaration of the final result will be in March followed by PI for foreign nationals and NRI candidates to be held in April.
