The Indian Armed Forces have invited applicants to fill 189 posts at the Short Service Commission (SSC). Those who aspire to become a part of this wing in the Indian military can apply for the same and visit the official website of Join Indian Army; joinindianarmy.nic.in. The notification contains all the important information that the candidates must know before applying for the available vacancies. It has been further informed that this recruitment is a part of the 23rd Short Service Commission (Tech) Women course along with the 52nd Short Service Commission (Tech) men. Once the candidates surpass the exam, the course for the same will begin next year in April at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The recent vacancies are for unmarried male, female and windows of defense personnel Engineering candidates. For students who are in the final year of Engineering course must note that they can only apply for the openings only if they can submit the proof of passing by April 1, 2019. The last date to submit the applications is August 9. After the process is done, the entrance exam will be conducted on April 29, 2019. A total of 175 posts have been offered to men, and for women, it is 14. On the other hand, for widows, there are two vacancies under this recruitment. As declared by the government, the salary ranges from Rs. 56,000 to over Rs. 2 lakhs.
On the official website, applicants will be able to see a link stating ‘Officer Entry Application/ Login’. All the candidates must be between 20 to 27 years as on April 1 and widows should be a maximum of 35 years of age. However, the current openings are tentative and could be revised depending on organisational requirements.
