New Delhi, March 20: The result of the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc JAM 2018 have been announced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. The results were declared after 5 pm as announced earlier by the institute. The candidates who had appeared for the test can check their results at IIT- Bombay's official website jam.iitb.ac.in.

The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is an all-india examination conducted in eight zones across the countly jointly by IISc and seven IITs on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. JAM is for admission to M.Sc. (Two year), Joint M.Sc. -Ph.D, Dual Degree and other post-bachelor degree programes at IISc and IITs.

The result shows the qualifying status and marks of the candidates who had appeared in Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programme. IIT Bombay had conducted the exam in February 2018.

Steps to be followed to download the result: 

1.Log on to the official website of the institue/exam at http://jam.iitb.ac.in/

2.Click on the first instruction given in blue inside the box. The result link is above the question paper and final answer key link.

3.In the space provided, the student must enter the login credentials asked, for example Email id or enrollment no.

4.Enter the captcha to verify and click on the submit button

5.Your result will be displayed on the screen with your name and details as well as the score.

6. The student is advised to download & preserve the photocopy of the score and other details till the completion of admission procedure.
