IISc PG Admission 2019: Online Applications to Begin From February 1; Apply Online at iisc.ac.in

IISc PG application procedure will begin on February 1 and the last date to apply is March 25, 2019.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is inviting interested aspirants to enrol for several postgraduate courses offered by the Institute for the academic year 2019-21. IISc is offering masters in various subjects including research programmes—PhD, MTech, MDes, M Management, Integrated PhD programmes and research under external registration programmes. The admission notice can be read online at iisc.ac.in. According to the notification, the application procedure will begin on February 1 and the last date to apply is March 25, 2019. Candidates must note that the application link will be deactivated post 11:59 pm, March 25. The candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of engineering, technology or master’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics, statistics, geology, instrumentation, electronics, computer applications with a valid GATE 2017/ 2018/ 2019 score are eligible to apply for the available courses. IIT JEE 2019: Supreme Court Removes Age Limit Provisionally, Aspirants Above 25 Years of Age Can Take Exam. 

How to Apply for IISc PG Admissions 2019?

1. Visit the official website; iisc.ac.in.

2. On the homepage, scroll down to find the admission portal.

3. After further scrolling over the picture to reach the link, ‘PG Research Programmes.’

4. Select the programme you wish to study for MTech (research) or PhD.

5. Click apply.

6. Read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.

IISc further noted that the candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 800. Further, for the SC/ ST/ PwD and other private category candidates, the cost is Rs 400, and ERP candidates will have to Rs. 2,000. The candidates are advised to apply for the courses as soon as the admission link is activated to avoid last-minute stress.
