The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is undergoing with the re-registration process for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. As per the recent notification, IGNOU has now extended the submission date, and candidates can apply through the official website; ignou.ac.in till January 15, 2019. The re-registration in IGNOU academic process means candidates registering for the next year or semester of a programme. In this case, the method is applicable for students who are under the UG and PG curriculum of two to three years duration. The students must further note that the registrations can be done irrespective of whether you have submitted the assignments or appeared in the Term End Examination (TEE) of the previous semester. How to Apply Online for IGNOU 2019 Re-registration?
1. The first-time applicants will have to visit the open programme tab on the homepage and select their curriculum. Read the course details both compulsory and electives, project work, eligibility criteria, etc. carefully.
2. On the homepage, a link—Register Yourself will be flashing on the screen. Click and fill in the required details.
3. The enrolment number will be the candidate’s username.
4. After filling the information, click, ‘submit’.
5. Proceed to pay the fees. The available payment options are a credit card, debit card, net banking and ATM card.
6. Once the payment is successfully made, click the ‘save’ button and take a few printouts of the application forms for the future reference.
7. Your username will be sent to you through email and SMS.
The username and password shall be noted as it will be required for frequent login. There are a number of UG and PG course through distance and open mode under the IGNOU. The varsity conducts the admission in two cycles—January and June in each academic session.
