ICSE & ISC Exam Results 2018 Date: CISCE to Declare Class 10 & Class 12 Board Exam Results on May 23 at cisce.org
CISCE is set to declare the ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 results 2018 on May 23, 2018. The board will announce the result on its official website.
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is likely to declare its Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) class 12 results by the end of this month. As per the latest update to sources close to CISCE, the tentative date to declare the ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 results 2018 is May 23. The board will announce the result on its official website, cisce.org. Earlier reports stated that CISCE was to release the class 10 and class 12 results on May 25, 2018. But recent information claims that the result announcement could be preponed to two days giving a hint to declare on May 23, 2018. However, it is important to note that CISCE is yet to confirm this decision.
This year, over 1 lakh students appeared for ICSE class 10 examination and more than 80 thousand students sat for ISC class 12 exams. The ICSE examinations 2018 were held from February 26 to March 28, whereas the ISC exam began on February 7 to April 2. Once declared, the students can check their CISCE board exam results 2018 by visiting their official website.
Steps to check your ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 exam results 2018:
1. Visit the official website, cisce.org.
2. You will come across related links that state—ICSE/ ISC Results 2018. Click the link as per your course.
3. Enter roll number and other required details and click ‘submit’.
4. You will be able to view your ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 exam results.
5. The candidates can download and take a print out of the scorecard for future purposes.
Last year, the ICSE and ISC board result was declared on May 29, 2017 and the overall pass percentage for class 10 was 98.58 percent and for class 12 it stood at 96.56 percent. From 2018 examination year onwards, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) informed the students that CISCE slashed the passing percentage for both ICSE and ISC. It is a huge relief to students as the pass marks for class 10 has been reduced from 35 percent to 33 percent and for class 12 from 40 percent to 25 percent. The CISCE candidates are advised to keep an eye on its official website as the results could be declared anytime soon.
