ICSE Class 10 Board Exam 2019 From Today: 7 Important Instructions to Follow on the CISCE Examination Day

CISCE has released important instructions for the candidates to follow on the ICSE board exam day.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has begun the class 10 board exam 2019 from today, i.e. February 22. Candidates have geared up to appear in the most-awaited annual board examination administered by CISCE. According to the timetable, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 exam will continue till March 25 ending with Science Paper 3; Biology. Ahead of the examinations, CISCE has released important instructions for the candidates to follow on the ICSE board exam day. Note all the essential points mentioned below while appearing in the coveted class 10 ICSE board exam 2019.

Like every year, this year too, the candidates will get 15 minutes to read the question paper before the commencement of the class 10 board exam 2019. The ICSE class 10 board exam admit card is also available online on the official website; cisce.org for students to visit and download.

Important Instructions to Follow on the ICSE Class 10 Exam Day

1. Carry the ICSE class 10 admit card to the examination hall. Those without it, will not be allowed to participate in the exam.

2. Reach the exam venue at least half-an-hour early to avoid the last-minute hustle.

3. Be seated in the exam hall five minutes before the time fixed for the start of the examination in the subject.

4. Answer only that number of questions as mentioned in the question paper. All the entries on the Answer Booklet are to be made with Black/Blue ball-point pen only.

5. Students are barred from using any electronic devices at the exam centre.

6. Candidates found guilty of disorderly conduct or causing a disturbance in or near the examination hall are liable to be expelled and will be refused admission for subsequent exam papers.

7. Candidates must write on both sides of the paper unless the rubric of the question paper prohibits.

Candidates are advised to keep all the above instructions in mind while appearing in the board examination 2019. From this year, candidates who fail to secure a passing mark in the ICSE class 10 board exam, will be allowed to sit for the Compartmental Exam which is scheduled to be held in July 2019. They can appear only in one subject in which they have not secured a pass mark. ICSE class 10 board 2019 candidates will have to clear English (compulsory) and three other subjects to be eligible to appear in the compartment examination.
