The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) will announce its Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) class 10th and Indian School Certificate (ISC) class 12th results 2018 on May 14 at 3:00 pm. Students can check their results online by visiting the official website of CISCE; cisce.org. The council’s headquarters in Noida, UP will also display the class 10 and class 12 results for those who are willing to check their scores offline. CISCE conducted the ICSE class 10th exams between February 26 till March 28. On the other hand, the ISC class 12th examinations began from February 7 and ended on April 2.
Earlier, reports were doing rounds that the results for both the classes will be declared by the council on May 25. Again, by the end of last week, it was expected that the date was preponed to May 23. However, putting an end to all the speculations, CISCE finally declared a confirmed date which is May 14 for its ICSE and ISC results 2018. Apart from the official website; students can also check their board exam results from other third-party websites such as examresults.net to know their scores.
Quick steps to check your ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 exam results 2018:
1. Visit the official website; cisce.org.
2. Under the ‘Careers’ tab, you will come across ICSE/ ISC results 2018. Click the link.
3. Enter your roll number and other required details and click submit.
4. Your CISCE class 10 and class 12 results 2018 will be displayed on the computer screen.
5. Download and take a print out of the scorecard for future references.
In a relief to all the students; from this year, CISCE reduced its passing percentage. For ICSE class 10, candidates will have to score 33 percent instead of 35 percent; again, for ISC class 12, they will have to secure 35 percent and not 40 percent. Class 10 students can access the digitally-signed copies of the ‘Statement of Marks’ and ‘Pass Certificate’ from Digilocker two days after the result declaration. Whereas, class 12 candidates can access the same along with the ‘Migration Certificate’ on the same date from the official website of CISCE. To get their unique username and password, the candidates must sign in to Digilocker by signing in with the mobile number.
This year, over 1 lakh students sat for the ICSE class 10 examination and more than 80 thousand candidates wrote the ISC class 12 exams at various exam centres. In 2017, the pass percentage for ICSE class 10 stood at 98.58 percent and class 12 students secured 96.56 percent.
