The Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR) has begun the counselling registration process for post-graduation (PG) courses. Candidates who have been shortlisted and placed in ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) merit list should note that the last day to register for ICAR PG counselling is tomorrow, September 24. Further, the first allotment result for PG admission will be released on September 26 at 5 pm on the official websites; icarexam.net, icar.org.in. Once the candidates are allotted with the institutes, need to present for admissions on or before on October 1. Kerala High Court Directs ICAR to Conduct Fresh Exams for State Students. 

The second and the final allotment results will be released on October 4. Candidates need to click on the ‘Application Login’ button available on the homepage and fill in the required details. They can register and choose the seats on the candidate page. The procedures should be done as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute technical glitches. Meanwhile, ICAR is simultaneously conducting counselling sessions for undergraduates and PhD course candidates. The council had already declared the first allotment list on September 15 and the second one was released today, September 23.

ICAR AIEEA was done with their exams on September 16 for flood-affected Kerala candidates, and the results were declared on September 8 after much of controversies. The institute will conduct the online counselling for admissions to agricultural colleges in two rounds. ICAR is an apex body which coordinates, guides, and manages research, extension and education in agriculture in the entire country under the Aegis of DARE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare.
