The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) of Clerks Posts in nationalised banks at ibps.in. From the past eight years, the institute is conducting a common written exam (CWE) yearly for the clerical cadre where lakhs of students apply to get one of the most coveted jobs in the banking sector. This year, IBPS will conduct the exam to fill in 7,275 vacancies, and the online application link has been activated on September 18 and will continue till October 10. However, the conducting body has made some significant change in the exam pattern for the preliminary exam by introducing sectional timings. IBPS Clerk Registration 2018–19 Begins for Over 7,000 Government Job Vacancies.

To prepare for the examination for IBPS Clerk VIII Exam, a candidate must know the exam pattern in order to develop a strategy for the exam. The exam which is based on the scores of the candidates in their Mains examination has adopted a few changes in the question paper. The total time duration is as similar to the previous ones; only the duration has been set for each subject. IBPS Preliminary Examination is a one-hour exam in which the candidates need to answer three tests—English Language (30 questions), Numerical Ability (35 questions) and Reasoning Ability (35 questions). For each section, a student will get 20 minutes to answer all of them.

Students who clear the prelims will be qualified to sit for the Mains. It must be noted that IBPS has not revised the exam pattern for the main exams. Moreover, the candidates must also check the salary structure and job profile of IBPS clerical post along with the career growth and promotion opportunities; the details are available on the website.
