GATE Results 2018: IIT Guwahati To Declare Results on March 17 At gate.iitg.ac.in

Students can find their exam result on the GATE Online Application Processing System Portal. The candidates can further download their scorecard from March 20 onwards.

The result Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be announced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati on March 17, 2018 at gate.iitg.ac.in, appsgate.iitg.ac.in. The test was held in February and the final answer keys were out on March 14. GATE 2018 were conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11 this year in computer-based mode across India and abroad.  Students can find their exam result on the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) Portal. The candidates can further download their scorecard from March 20 onwards. The soft copies will be available till May 31 on the official website.

It is also important to note that the hard copies of the scorecard will not be issued to any students. You can take a print out and keep it with you as the GATE score will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results. Those who score well in this entrance test, will get admission in reputed Institutes or they can even apply in various government universities. Here are the quick steps to check GATE 2018 results:

1. Visit the official website gate.iitg.ac.in.

2. You will come across this link—appsgate.iitg.ac.in, click it.

3. The candidate will be directed to a new webpage.

4. Enter your enrolment ID which was sent to you during registration or which is mentioned in your admit card along with the valid GOAPS password and captcha code.

5. Your result will be displayed on the computer screen.

6. Go through it carefully, download and take a print out for future references.

GATE is a national level Post Graduate entrance examination for aspirants who seek in taking admission to various Mechanical Engineering (M.E.)/ Master of Technology (MTech) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes at IITs, NITs and other Universities in India. Your rank and score will be mentioned on the GATE Scorecard.
