The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) for 2019. For the national level entrance exam, the registrations process is already done. Now IIT Madras has opened the window for its candidates to put forward their request for a change in GATE 2019 exam paper. In order to request for the same, the registered candidates will have to visit the official website; iitm.ac.in. The facility was initiated from October 17 and will end on October 23. Hence, the candidates who seek to make changes in the exam paper, must do the same soon to avoid a last-minute rush. Gate 2019 Registrations Ends.
To change the exam paper as filled in GATE 2019 application form, candidates will have to log in using their enrolment ID or email address and password. The exam paper change fee for Indian candidates is Rs 300 and 10 dollars (over Rs. 700) for those outside the nation. After selecting the exam paper, candidates will have to click ‘submit’ button to reach the payment page. The fee can be paid through, credit card/ net banking/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet and Cash Card and International Card. GATE 2019 will be conducted on February 2, 3, 9 and 10 in online mode.
It shall be noted that the admit cards for the entrance exam will be available from January 4 on the web portals for candidates to download. The results for the same is tentatively scheduled to be declared on March 16, 2019. GATE is conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).
