The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has recently released the list of rejected candidates and the exam schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019. Those who have not checked the timetable, can do it by visiting the official sites; gate.iitm.ac.in, appsgate.iitm.ac.in. IIT Madras is now set to release the GATE 2019 Admit Card for all the eligible candidates who will appear in the entrance exam which is scheduled to be held on February 2, 3 and February 9, 10 in two shifts. Besides, the aspirants can also go through the important instructions including the documents needed at the exam hall which is available at the back of the hall tickets. GATE 2019 will be conducted on 24 subjects that include, aerospace engineering, agricultural engineering, architecture and planning, biotechnology, civil engineering, chemical engineering, instrumentation engineering, mathematics and mechanical engineering among other subjects. The admit card carry important details like exam centre, dates and schedule. In case of any discrepancy on the hall tickets, the candidates are advised to contact the authorities immediately. How to Download GATE 2019 Admit Card?
- Visit the official websites; gate.iitm.ac.in, appsgate.iitm.ac.in.
- Enter GATE 2019 enrolment id/ email id and the password in the GOAPS portal.
- Submit the details.
- You will be guided to the next screen which will feature the GATE 2019 admit card.
- Check details, download and take a print out for future reference.
GATE 2019 Documents Needed at the Exam Centre
- GATE 2019 Admit Card.
- Any of the valid ID proof—Passport, Pan card, Voter Id, Aadhaar card, College Id, Employee Id, or Driving License.
- The photo ID proof must be an original copy.
- PWD candidates will have to carry a certificate that validates their PWD claim.
GATE 2019 exam will be held in an online mode. The national level entrance exam is conducted for admission to masters and direct doctoral programmes in engineering, technology, architecture and in other branches of science at various Indian Institutes of Science (IISc) and IITs.
