New Delhi, March 31: In wake of the mounting tension over CBSE paper leaks since the last week, the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) on Saturday informed that a fake question paper of Class 12- Hindi (Elective) is being circulated on Social Media.
The Board warned that fake question paper of the upcoming exam are being circulated on WhatsApp, YouTube etc and advices students not to fall a prey to it. The CBSE had announced retest of the two papers earlier this week following reports that both papers had been leaked.

The HRD Ministry on Friday announced that April 25 as the date of re-examination for Class 12 Economics paper. Education secretary Anil Swarup said the board will take a call in the next 15 days if there was a need to conduct retest for Class 10 Maths exam. The preliminary inquiry has revealed the Class 10 paper leak occurred in Haryana and Delhi-NCR, which is why re-exam will be held only in these two regions.
"Regarding Class 10th re-examination, as leak was restricted to Delhi and Haryana, if it at all a re-exam will happen, it will happen only in Delhi and Haryana and a decision will be taken on this in next 15 days. If at all a re-exam is done, it will be in July," said Swarup.
On March 26, Class XII CBSE students were left appalled following the rumours of their Economics paper being leaked on social media hours before the examination. As per reports, the question paper being leaked circulated through social media and WhatsApp several hours before the time of the exam.
So far, the Delhi Police has sent 3 teams to schools, exam centers and residences of students in outer Delhi. More than 60 people have been questioned till now out of which 10 are tutors of coaching centers, more than 50 cell phones of students & tutors have been seized till now.
