New Delhi, May 6: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced the results for class 10 board exams.  Students who have appeared in this year’s examination, can check their CBSE 10th scores online at the official website of the board - cbseresults.nic.in. This is how the compartment exams work: The CBSE Board gives three chances for all the students who were not able to clear their examinations by allowing them to sit for the compartment exam. CBSE Class 10 Results 2019 Declared on cbseresults.nic.in: Pass Percentage, Toppers & Other Details.

Three chances are given to the students for clearing that subject. Exams are held consecutively in the months of July, March, and then again July. Anyone getting compartment in any of the subjects can apply for the compartment exam within these three chances, else they will have to appear from Open Board.

Therefore, the remaining candidates who had failed in one subject or two, or securing the pass percentile, will not be at stake as the board is slated to begin the compartment examination procedure for those students.

How To Apply For CBSE Compartment Exam 2019:

1. Students should visit the official website of CBSE, that is, cbse.nic.in.

2. After clicking on the link, students will be directed to a new page,

3. Students should then click on the link “Compartment Application Form 2019”.

4. After the form opens on the screen, fill the details required

5. Upload latest passport sized photograph and scanned signature.

6. Make the payment

7. Download the confirmation page and keep a print out of it.

The total pass percentage in CBSE Class 10th Exams is 91.1 percent. Trivandrum registered the highest passing percentage-99.85 percent, followed by Chennai-99 percent, and Ajmer- 95.89 percent. These are the top three regions according to the overall passing percentage of the students, reported news agency ANI. More than 17 lakh students had appeared for CBSE Class X exams. Siddhant Pengoriya and Divyansh Wadhwa of the Dehradun division have topped the exams. They secured 499/500 along with 11 other students. Siddhant Pengoriya is Class 10 Topper with 99.8 percent.
