The University of Delhi is currently hosting the admission process for the 2019-20 undergraduate batches. The first merit list for DU has been released and as speculated, the key colleges’ cut-offs are extremely high. Students can check the DU cut-off 2019 list college and subject-wise at the official website du.ac.in. The varsity released the first merit list on June 27, a day ahead of the scheduled time, which was June 28, 2019. DU informed that like every year, most of the applications were registered from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students. At least 2.05 lakh candidates applied from CBSE, followed by other state and CISCE board.
DU First Cut-Off List 2019: Key Colleges
- Hindu College: 99 percent for BA Political Science Hons and 98.3% for BSc Physics Hons
- Lady Shri Ram College: 98.75 percent for BA Psychology Hons and 98.5% for BCom Hons
- Kirori Mal College: Above 97 percent for BA English, Economics and BCom Hons
- Hansraj College: 97.25 percent for BA English Hons, 98.5 percent for BA Economics Hons and 98.25 percent for BCom
- Jesus and Mary College: 98 percent for BA Psychology Hons
- Bhagini Nivedita: 90 percent for BSc Hons in Physics
- Delhi College of Arts and Commerce: 98.5 percent for Journalism course

- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 12 marksheet/ pass certificate

The cut-offs have increased than the previous years, as expected. Many coveted colleges marginally increased their cut-offs as compared to 2018 for a major subject. The second merit list is expected to be released, on the morning of July 4, 2019.
