Delhi University Admissions 2018: Last Date for Registrations Today; Apply Online at du.ac.in before 6:00 pm

It is informed to all the candidates that the registration procedure for all the courses is completely online and students shall visit DU’s official website.

To all the aspirants who seek to study undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the most prestigious institution in India, here is an important announcement you must note. Delhi University will close its online registration today at 6:00 pm and hence the DU authorities have advised the students to fill in the application soon to avoid last minute hustle. As several state and central boards began to announce its exam results, DU on May 15 released the notification regarding their admission process. It is informed to all the candidates that the registration procedure for all the courses is completely online and students shall visit DU’s official website; du.ac.in to fill in the applications.

Delhi University has further instructed all the candidates who have submitted more than one application. They must hold only one correct, successfully submit the form and cancel the wrong one. Only one application which has accurate information per applicant for admissions will remain with the university. On the other hand, the university authorities have also release the application dates for sports quota. The sport trials will be conducted between June 22 and June 29. All the information related to the same have been uploaded on the admission portal.

It has been reported that till June 6, nearly 3,38,893 candidates have registered online for various courses at Delhi University. IANS stated that about 2,40,000 of these registrations were made for the merit-based course and rest for the entrance-based ones. As the online applications closes today evening, the students must hurry up to evade any disappointment. Only two colleges apart from the rest under DU have their separate online admission process. Otherwise, several colleges have different cut-offs depending on the performance of the board results. Looking at the past instances, the competition to get admission at DU is very strict. In 2016, 100 percent was the cut-off in few courses at the colleges under Delhi University.
