Students aspiring to study Master of Business Administration (MBA), here is an important announcement for you. One of the leading institutes for business study, Delhi School of Economics (DSE) has opened the online application window for students to apply for a two-year full-time MBA programme. All the eligible candidates can apply through the official website; dsemba.in. The application procedure which has already begun, will conclude on January 5, 2019. Although, the varsity has given appropriate time for the students, it is advisable not to be lenient and begin the applications sooner to avoid the last-minute hassle. To secure seats at the Delhi School of Economics, the candidates will have to appear in a Common Admission Test (CAT). Only through CAT scores, the students will get admissions. There are 73 seats available at Delhi School of Economics. Out of the total number 11 seats are reserved for various category candidates. DSE MBA Admission 2019 Educational Qualification
For securing the seats at DSE for its MBA programme, a candidate must clear bachelor’s degree examination with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system from any discipline of the University of Delhi. Students who are in their final year and waiting for the results are also eligible to apply. Further, for MBA, scores of CAT 2018 is also essential.
DSE MBA Admission 2019 Application Fee
To successfully apply for the MBA programme at DSE, a candidate will have to make a registration fee. All the general category candidates will have to pay Rs. 1,800 and for other reserved category candidates, the registration fee is Rs. 900. DSE MBA Admission 2019 Selection Procedure
The admission to MBA courses at DSE will be done through a three-layered process including CAT percentile, Group Discussion and Interview scores to get selected for the programme.
CAT 2018 is scheduled to be held on November 25, 2018, at various test centres. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will conduct CAT 2018. The scores will allow students to secure admissions at top B-schools in India. From this year, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will also accept CAT scores for its new MBA programme.
