New Delhi, July 07: The Consortium of National Law Universities announced that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 will take place on December 1, 2024. Registration opens on July 15 and closes on October 15, with forms available on the official website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The exam, scheduled from 2 PM to 4 PM (extended to 4:40 PM for PwD candidates), will be held at a national level for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs at 22 National Law Universities across India. NEET UG 2024 Counselling Postponed Until Further Notice, Reports.
CLAT 2025: Eligibility Criteria
UG: Minimum 45% in Class 12 (40% for SC, ST, and PwD candidates). Students appearing in March/April 2025 are eligible.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for CLAT 2025.
- Visit the official website of CLAT, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
- Click on the notification link that reads, 'CLAT 2025 registration'
- It will redirect you to a new page where you need to first register yourself and then proceed with the application form
- Fill out the CLAT 2025 application form carefully
- Upload documents, pay application fee and submit
- Take a printout of the CLAT 2025 application form and save it for future reference
CLAT, the national-level entrance test, is held for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by 24 national law universities located across the country.
