CLAT 2019 Admit Card Released Online at clat.ac.in: NLU Entrance Exam to be Held on May 26; Check Paper Pattern Here

The Consortium of National Law University released the Admit Card for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), today, May 13. Candidates who are appearing in the entrance examination can download CLAT 2019 hall tickets online by visiting the official website; clat.ac.in. The National Law Universities (NLUs) will conduct the CLAT 2019 exam on May 26, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. As the admit cards are uploaded now, candidates are at their final CLAT 2019 final exam preparation leg, the exam paper pattern of which is described below. CLAT Back to Offline Mode! NLUs were conducting the CLAT 2019 entrance exam in an online mode in recent years. But, followed by technical glitches in many examination centres, from 2019 onwards, CLAT has been decided to go back to the offline pen-paper mode examination. It shall be noted that CLAT 2019 admit card is an important document and without the hard copy of the hall tickets, students will not be allowed to appear on the exam day.

NLU CLAT 2019 Exam Pattern

CLAT 2019 for students applying in the undergraduate (UG) programme is a 200 marks exam, held for two-hour long, with Multiple-Choice questions. All 200 questions will hold one mark each and there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer. On the other hand, for postgraduate (PG) programme, 150 questions will be asked, carrying one mark each. For the two-hour long CLAT 2019 PG exam, there is negative marking of 0.25. The subject areas for CLAT includes, English with comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

According to a 2018 press release, the Consortium decided to bring back the pen-paper exam pattern. The online test will be ‘re-considered’ only if the number of candidates appearing in CLAT drastically increases.
