The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE), Raipur had declared the results for supplementary or Purak exams today. All class 10 and class 12 students who have appeared in these exams can check their scores on the official website, cgbse.nic.in. To check the compartment results online, the students will have to enter the roll numbers as mentioned on their admit card. Quoting media reports, 85,000 students wrote the exams that commenced in the first week of July till July 25. Along with the high school and higher secondary supplementary examination result, CGBSE had also declared the higher secondary vocational compartment results.

Soon after the examinations were over, the Chhattisgarh Board started the re-evaluation process. The scorecard has been uploaded online just a while ago today. A link stating Supplementary Results 2018 is flashing on the homepage. Class 10 and class 12 students must download and take a print out of their supplementary mark sheets for future reference. Those who could not clear the regular board exam conducted by CGBSE had to sit for the supplementary exams in order to avoid losing a year. This year, the CGBSE board announced the class 10 and class 12 results on May 9, 2018.

In class 10, the pass percentage stood at 68.04 per cent. In class 12.77 per cent of students were successfully qualified for the higher studies. Girls outperformed boys in CGBSE class 12 board exams securing 79.04 as the pass per cent; while 74.45 per cent boys passed the exam. Since the supplementary exam results took such a long time to announce, the class 12 students might face difficulty as most of the colleges are done with their admission. In few colleges, the last date of admission in Science, Commerce and Arts streams was earlier scheduled for July 31. However, with students demand, the admission date extended until August 10.
